| I had to fix a handle that had been damaged (cracked), and re-glue it on the frame of the door. I was concerned about the glue being sticky enough and keeping its integrity with the high heat, but it’s worked flawlessly!

| The ceramic portion of my cooktop came unglued from the steel part of the oven. I couldn’t find anyone to repair the cooktop, everyone saying I either had to replace the entire cooktop portion of the oven (which is discontinued and no longer available for purchase) or replace the entire oven. I was lucky to find this oven door glue product, and tried it out, following the directions for gluing the door, just applying it to the cooktop and housing.
I highly recommend following the directions completely, as proper surface preparation is the key. Ensure both surfaces are completely clean. Use alcohol and acetone to remove any remnants of previous glue and debris. After application of the glue and using heavy books to keep the cooktop compressed against the housing, the glue made an excellent seal. This product saved me thousands of dollars by extending the life of my cooktop, and helping me avoid a costly and unplanned appliance replacement. Thank you!!! |

So I looked for oven glue and purchased this one. I took out screw and coated it in glue and again put glue around the washer, wiping off excess. It has held beautifully without loosening again! It is waterproof once cured, and the heat of a dishwasher would be no problem so its properties do lend itself to that sort of environment. Electrolux wanted to send me a new oven door for over $500 US, and I bought the large oven door glue kit for $15 and with a little ingenuity, I fixed it perfectly with some help from a friend. You have to do it with the door on, vertical, and use shims, weights, and levers to set it for at least 24 hours….if you take the door off, you risk not having it centered and spacing correct. | My wife had tried to take the glass off the front of our oven for cleaning in preparation to sell our house. She hadn’t realised that there were two more screws at the bottom, which secured metal brackets to the door frame, – brackets that were glued to the glass. The brackets tore loose from the glass. I thought, where am I going to get an adhesive that can bond metal to glass, which is both strong and highly heat resistant? Then I figured that the factory had access to such a product, and surely I’m not the only person in this type of a fix. So I went looking, and found these folk almost immediately. Quick delivery from the UK, concise instructions, comprehensive all – inclusive kit (even a glove, spatula and razorblade scraper!) and a first rate adhesive made for a very professional job, even if I do say so myself. Don’t bother looking anywhere else. Totally satisfied. Very happy with the price too. |

| Inside glass of my oven came unstuck. Ordered the kit from ovendoorglue. Arrived really quickly from overseas. Was a 3/10 for difficulty to fix the door. Just removed the oven door, removed the glass, scraped away old silicon with the supplied scraper, cleaned and then used the supplied silicon to create a new bead. Sat the glass on the bead and put a couple of 1kg bags of flour on glass to press down and let it set/cure. Best few bucks i’ve spent and it has worked like a charm. I cook regularly at 230 C and no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend both product and service from Eddie. Thanks!!!! |

| Glass on inside of door came loose from door. Googled options to fix it. Saw this product. Ignored it. Looked for more options. Carried on using oven. Worried about loose door. Spent hours looking at it, worrying about it. Was considering purchasing a replacement door. Finally decided to purchase this glue kit. Arrived from the other side of the world in less than a week. Fixed door easily in a few minutes. Six months later and it is still fixed. I should have saved myself the worry and purchased the Oven Door Glue Kit when I first found out about it. |

| The lens on my auto driving light was broken by a rock or something, To have the total assembly replaced it would have been several hundred dollars. I found a clear glass cooking dish that was approx the same size as the old lens and glued it onto the assembly. Worked great, and I have been driving over rough roads without the bowl loosening from the assembly. |

All you need to do is ensure that there is good contact between the adhesive and the surfaces. The pad of adhesive will be flexible once cured and will allow for movement in the glass as it heats up. |

| After 10 years of service, the bottom clips poped off my bottom oven door. A repair compay wantged $575 to repair, but could not find any doors, as the company had stopped making the door. Found one on line for $285, but no return policy if broken. Found this oven door gule, ordered the large tube and did the repair myself. I ordered the large tube incase I needed to make multipule attempts at the repair. Being very careful to remove the entire door from the stove. Layed the door down on a folded towel on the table, glass down and removed the door frame and oven glass from the front glass. Followed the instructions in the kit and used small spring loaded wood clamps to hold the clips in place while the gule dried. I only glued the clips to the glass, but could have glued the entire metal frame if the clips did not hold. After six months the over glue is holding the glass clips, probably better than the ones on a new door. I am extremely pleased with it’s results. I could have had to replace the double oven had I not attempted the repair. |

Then I found this website that had actual oven door glue. It was cheap, so I thought I might give it a try. Fully expecting it not to work. It’s been several months now and the glass hasn’t budged. The gloves that were sent with the glue were hilariously huge, so I kept them. Terrific product though. I recommend it to anyone with this problem. |

| The adhesive had failed on the outer glass panel of the door so it had come away from a steel plate, so it was hanging free. This was probably due to poor installation of the oven rather than a manufacturing defect. I was not able to find any high temp glue in NZ, so found this on Google and imported it. Roz was so quick and efficient in despatch. I made a very thorough job of cleaning up the old joint, and the new glue has worked wonderfully, the joint is as firm as a rock. Thanks! |
