If your plates have borken away, and are still working, but fall out, some of the high temperature adhesive behind the plate will hold them securely back in position |

| This product is amazing! We recently moved into a home with a GE oven and noticed the stainless steel front panel started slipping, eventually coming off altogether. After much research, I found The Oven Door Glue Kit and decided to order it. The instructions were very easy and it worked perfectly. We have used the oven multiple times per week at high temperatures and the panel has stayed secure for over six months. I tell everyone I know about the product and our experience. | Our oven had been taking ages to warm up but, now we’ve fixed the seals on the door using the Glue Kit, it gets to temperature in half the time. It’s saved us time and money and the waste of unnecessarily buying a new oven!

| The glue worked very well and was easy to use. Mark your glass to obtain the correct alignment before applying glue to glass. Then secure with padded clamps and check glass for proper alignment. |

| ovendoorglue: If refixing brackets to the glass, do not clamp too tightly, you want to leave a thin pad of adhesive between the bracket and the glass (1/16th inch, 2mm). All you need to do is ensure that there is good contact between the adhesive and the surfaces. The pad of adhesive will be flexible once cured and will allow for movement in the glass as it heats up. |

| After 10 years of service, the bottom clips poped off my bottom oven door. A repair compay wantged $575 to repair, but could not find any doors, as the company had stopped making the door. Found one on line for $285, but no return policy if broken. Found this oven door gule, ordered the large tube and did the repair myself. I ordered the large tube incase I needed to make multipule attempts at the repair. Being very careful to remove the entire door from the stove. Layed the door down on a folded towel on the table, glass down and removed the door frame and oven glass from the front glass. Followed the instructions in the kit and used small spring loaded wood clamps to hold the clips in place while the gule dried. I only glued the clips to the glass, but could have glued the entire metal frame if the clips did not hold. After six months the over glue is holding the glass clips, probably better than the ones on a new door. I am extremely pleased with it’s results. I could have had to replace the double oven had I not attempted the repair. |

| The glass to my oven fell out but didnt break, so I searched and searched the Internet and stores for days looking for high temp glue but was unsuccessful. Then I found this website that had actual oven door glue. It was cheap, so I thought I might give it a try. Fully expecting it not to work. It’s been several months now and the glass hasn’t budged. The gloves that were sent with the glue were hilariously huge, so I kept them. Terrific product though. I recommend it to anyone with this problem. |

| The adhesive had failed on the outer glass panel of the door so it had come away from a steel plate, so it was hanging free. This was probably due to poor installation of the oven rather than a manufacturing defect. I was not able to find any high temp glue in NZ, so found this on Google and imported it. Roz was so quick and efficient in despatch. I made a very thorough job of cleaning up the old joint, and the new glue has worked wonderfully, the joint is as firm as a rock. Thanks! |
